I have done alot of reading on these forums (ALOT) and I really just want a respectable setup (respectable to the posters here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ). Here is what i have:

Kenwood mp919 HU

infinity perfect 5.1's in the front

jl vr components in the rear

two tens (one american bass the other a reference infinity)

two different sized sealed box's

jensen 680 4 channel amp

coustic 401se

I like the hu,speakers, and the coustic amp.

I have $185 in paypal and $160 in cash. I can sell what i am replacing and i also have other stuff for sale (for sale trade forum).

Im checking that out, so i should get a new amp to replace the jensen and use the coustic for the speakers?

Would i need two amps for the speakers since the coustic is only one channel? Should i stick with the jensen?

I have definately made up my mind to get a new sub(s) and i was most likely going to get a jbl 600.1 or save for the 1200.1 .

What size sub would you get? I heard that tens were good for tight bass, but i would rather take your advice on these forums.

Should i get rid of that jensen? I am asking because i would really like to get set with what will look good then get it all setup and cleaned up, my trunk is a f@ckin mess with all the wires.......

A 15 can be as tight as a 10 it all depends on the enclosure. but a 10 generally will sound tight in most any enclosure.

i do agree that the 10 is a tight bass sub but i like 12's and 15's b/c 12 s can get mighty loud and 15s are just as loud but more bass and not as slow as 18's

Screw the subs and the amp for the subs, i made up my mind with them (thanks snova and company).

What should i do with the two amps i have for my speakers? Since the coustic only has one preamp in should i stick with that jensen? From what i heard jensen is sh!t.
