If I were to....

In reality you could have a 2" coil take upwards of 2-3k on music if you have the cooling.. and correct materials. The dude that designed the Brahma motors had designed a 3" coil that could do 5-10k on music but adire went under.. someone might know the motor I'm talking about as I can't remember what it was.

nah brah...it can be done with a 4" its just that price goes up because the materials are more expensive. Just how the world works //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
true but I doubt that they will handle a continuous sine wave @10k. that is a lot of heat and there are only so many options to disperse it. plus there are mechanical limitations but those are much easier to bypass than thermal limitations.

does it start with a P? Like Pantheon or something like that? That's the biggest adire motor I can think of anyway, could be a 4" though

That was one he had a working prototype of, it was a 4" 8layer motor, but he also had a 2" one that he was doing also.

I dont Think anyone would buy them endless they were competing. To power that you're going to need alternators and battery banks so that eliminates the daily driver who has little space and wants to get loud endless they have a magical space for batteries. I don't see how you could have soft parts that handle 15k and are still musical

It begs the question what amp(s) can really reliably put out that kind of power for that long? What sort of charging system would one need to play 15KW for half an hour?

I don't think you would see a huge demand considering the price point you would have to come in with. Figure 100-120$ just for a coil.

It is rather dumb, as at that point the efficiency of adding power is far outweighed by adding cone area.

I'm running 8k non-stop with 1 300A alt and 4 batteries. I can't get below 14v. After rise, no idea what I'm actually clamping but the fact remains that I shouldn't be able to run what I'm running on what little charging I have.

no idea what I'm

no idea
1. That is not how that tactic is used.

2. It is still certainly more power than a single alt should be able to keep up with. My 2 1200.1s were drawing 400A. That would have to mean the horse is putting out less power than 2 KX1200.1s (doubtful), or that it is vastly more efficient.
