IDQ12 w/ US Amps MD-1D ohmage

This is my first post so I might as well start by saying hi to everybody. So Hi. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have plans on installing 2 Image Dynamics IDQ12v3 subs with a US Amps Merlin MD-1D amp. I am looking for some advice on what ohmage to wire the subs at. Depending on who you ask it seems that the subs can handle 300-500 Watts RMS and the amp has the following rated RMS output, 400Wx1 @ 4 ohm, 750Wx1 @ 2 ohm, and 1200Wx1 @ 1 ohm. The IDQ's are available in 2 or 4 ohm versions. I'm looking for sound quality not necessarily loudness which now I understand maybe the amp I chose won't be the best. What ohmage do you guys think I should get in the subs?
