IDQ12 vs JL Audio 12w6?

Am currently on IDQ12 but have a friend who is selling his jl audio 12" anniversary sub off for cheap (think prob is the 12w6v2 model?). Which one would sound better SQ-wise with 350-watts driving it? the Image Dynamics 12" or the JL audio 12w6v2 (anniversary edition)?

The JL anniversary sub that you are thinking about is not the 12W6v2. It is the AE or "Anniversary Edition". It is still a very nice sub, just not as expensive as the W6v2.

I believe that it may be a 6 ohm woofer also. You should check out JL website for more info.

As was mentioned....there was a JL 12w6AE that was based off of the old w6 and is not the new 12w6v2 version;

The T/S specs are identical between a regular W6 and a W6AE, I believe the only difference was cosmetics/asthestics.

Anyways...why don't you listen to them both in your car and decide which you like better?
