I just got it. It seems ok. I replaced a Boston acoustic g310 with it and the BA seemed to put out more thump. It does seem to be accurate in reproducing the base though, the base is very tight. With some subs once you get to the bottom end in general, its just loud and thumps, not this, where the base is hitting, is exactly what will be reproduced. So songs that were originally mixed and mastered at the bottom freq 20-50hz will sound absolutely awesome; while others mixed and mastered with the bottom cutoff or bad mp3 you'll wonder wheres the base your sub should be bumping. There is a definite compromise with loud/thump and quality unless you have the perfect playlist. So I guess you have to decide what is more important to you. Personally, if I had a second chance I wouldn't get them unless it was going to be a dual sub setup, I would try the sundowns that everyone seems to be raging about...don't know how they sound, but I'd prefer just a little more thump, and people say they sound good.
