IDMAX12 and box size

Pondering the idea of getting an IDMAX12, have been for a long time. I can only fit a 2.4ft3@28hz box in the back of my TC. Someone with experiance with MAX's - can you give me any info on whether or not this might be an ideal setup?

I assume you want ported? To get 28hz, the box will have to be a little bigger and you will need a port with the proper dimensions for that freq.

If you are willing to go a little higher on the freq, you could probably get away with 2.4 with a port. If you have not bought the 12 yet, then maybe look into a 10 instead.

It looks like you can go 2.55 for 28hz, but the box for a 10" is a lot smaller for that freq. The IDMAX 10 is very impressive for that size.

btw I am selling 4 idmax 12d4's if you are interested, but I would still go with a 10" considering your size limitations.
