Looking for a pair of 8 ohm subs that'll work well on 500 watts in a .75 cube (each) sealed enclosure.

are you looking for a 4ohm mono load? it may be easier to find 2 dual 4ohm subs and wire those to 4ohm than 2 8 ohm subs.

It doesn't matter as long as two subs can be wired in such a way that it presents a 4 ohm load to the amp.

Those are cheap alright, don't know how good they'd sound though.
