idiot's guide to tuning

can someone provide me info on how to increase the amount of sound coming out of my rear speakers. i went to the place that installed my system cause all the sound was all coming out of the back, and now its all coming out of the front. pretty sure they turned the rears all the way down. someone explain how to turn them back up...

i have the memphis belle (mch1300)

-which little dials/knobs should i adjust/avoid...what labels should i look for on the controls

-can you do this type of tuning while the car and amp is on, or does everything have to be off?

i know this is a very technically proficient group of people so i probably sound like an idiot, but please enlighten. any info will help, as i don't want to drive the 20 miles back out to the place to ask them to adjust the amp again

I guess no one else wants to help you .....

They probably turned it down because most people into sound quality get the mids/hi's from the front (in fact most don't even have rear mid/hi's anymore).

below is a link with pics of your amp. The bottom pic shows the controls. The only one you want is the one on the top right labeled "level"
