ideas on an amp rack?

Was thinking bout building an amp rack for my amp so that my amp would be on a slight slant so that would hold my amp any ideas on one or maybe best way to put it?

I just did something similar to what you're describing. Might not be perfect for your application, but itll give you an idea. I made it simply by putting 2 triangle legs onto a flat face.

3/4 MDF. Measures 2" bigger on each side than my amp. I used the Pythagorean theorum to get the length of the cut i'd need because i approx. the height i wanted and measured the depth + height.

I covered it in vynal from the local Joan Fabrics. I then used 1/4" spacers from home depot to raise the amp off the rack for cooling purposes

Save the steel and weight. MDF is strong enough, and easier to work with if you want to cover it.

Yeah true well he welds all the time so he's got the metal plus i think it would heat the metal up to much even if it did have the spacers what u think?

I wouldn't bother using steel. MDF is much lighter and easier to work with. Glue isn't going to stick well at all to steel if you are going to cover it with anything.
