But if it's your GF... and her senior year... she would probably kill you if you didnt. Just ask her in a real pathetic way that shows you're really not interested in going to prom, then she'll be more understanding and help you out with the scam your parents money, then skip the prom idea.

Prom was fun for me. The way I got together with the girl I took wasn't romantic at all. Basically It was her friends telling me she really wanted to go to prom with me, and my friends telling her I wanted to go to the prom with her (by then the deal was pretty much sealed). So, that day I asked her out to get some ice cream and asked over a bannana split.
