ideas for prom

Prom is a waste of money.
x2 I agree with that. Both my junior and senior years I ended up going to 2 different proms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

In fact the only prom I thought was fun was when I got invited by a Senior girl when I was a sophomore. Thats when I didnt have to pay for anything. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

why not make one of the macoroni plates..you know like when you were litttle..jus take a paper plate and in macoroni noodles ask her if she will go..thats alot cheaper than buying roses and you can cook the leftover noodles

Off topic....

My senior prom sucked, the DJ showed up 1hr late, with a blown amp and they played the music through the school's system for the Mic in the gym, god that sucked, most horrible music I've ever heard, it was toture listening to it. But the good part was I took Dad's Chevelle out that night, awsome car.

But just ask her straight up to go, and make the memorable part about senior prom that night...

I think prom is way overhyped, but it was still fun. If you choose not to rent a stretch limo, not go to the fanciest restaurant, and don't go all crazy on a tux then it really isn't too expensive. It isn't the defining moment of high school existence, but I had some good memories from going and enjoying it for what it is, a dance to meet up with friends. Those who try to turn it into the life alterating moment that embodies their young lives are usually sorely disappointed.

haha so true. To me, prom was just another dance.... the only highlight, is that it's the last school dance, last time you'll see some of the losers in your school... That's about it really...
