Ideas for potentially puttin a Wall in my Blazer

I own 1 12" XXX and i can vouch for them...they are amazing subs! Not that the ID Max isnt but as everyone else says the XXX is going to get louder and still retain the SQ. And 1500 wrms is plenty that is what i will be upgrading to for mine! I am running it on 1000wrms with gains at half and it gets loud enough you dont want it turned up for more then a few minutes! ANd that is one 12!!! I believe MattJ has a similar setup to mine with more power then me and (correct me if i am wrong) I think he is hitting 143db's on the linear X mic! Now if you go with 4 12" XXX's that is 4 times the subs and POWER he has!! If you arent hitting 158 i will be suprised!!! SERIOUSLY!! You need to be careful with that kind of power! In a daily driver with that kind of wangage hearing damage is pretty much a given! You could run everything at the minimum level and be rediculously loud! But anyhow man if you are putting that much into the system step up to the XXX it will be worth your while! Although i hear the IDMAX is a great sub i dont really think it is quite on the level of the XXX....Now i do hear exceptional things about the SI Magnum D2. I myself prefer the looks of the XXX so i chose it over the D2 but either is a great choice over the IDMAX!

Aight, I think you guys talked me into it..... I really wanted the XXX to begen with but then I saw the ID MAX and it was kinda a toss up....

How much do you think a 12" XXX will run, and how long will it take them to get it to me? I might just order one for now and throw a box together for now, just to see what it does....

Then order the other 3 if they are really all that...

You know what i think man, i think you should get the H2s. Ha just kidding, just wondering how many people i would piss off with that response. I like the set up man, looks pretty tight. I duno if you mentioned it earlier or not, but are you planning on having it sealed or ported? And aare you mainly going for spl or looks in terms of showingthe vehicle?

I'm planning on going ported... I'm thinking like 2.5 cubic feet per sub after sub space and port space and a port thats like 11x3x25 Thats a rough guess, not exact... That should be at about 30-33hz...

as far as what I'm going for... I want it all.... Why settle... I mean its for fun, I have all winter to do it... (in spare time, between work, wife and kid) I want Outragious Bass, Nice Sound quality (not just Burps) and a really nice detailed install... I'm trying to come up with a way to work a theme into the walls design... My Blazer has been Dubbed Fire and Ice by some friends...

After that We took a pic of my Blazer with the Ghost flames that you can never get to show up in a pic (showing up) with the truck in front of a little Frozen Water Fall for the ""ICE""...l

And I thought I might try to work that in there... I dunno... I desing will still change a few times before I do it... Plus I need a few more parts...

Mine is in 2.7 ft^3 tuned to 28hz it has great SQ and really wangs too 30-33 would be about the max i would tune one but it should really wang tuned around there! But yeah get one see how you like it, you wont be disapointed! The XXX is an amazing sub most ppl dont believe me when i say i only have 1 12 till i show them! Then they think I am hiding something!!LOL!! BTW: i can see those ghost flames man!!! That is tight ride i remember you posting pics of the tweed interior that is sweet man!
