Let me know what you guys think. I've put alot of time into researching this and would like some feedback. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm choosing the BTL's because of the cooling option since this will be my daily driver and the fact that they play lower/harder then the MT's... Any recommendations? I'm open to changes... LMK

I would say do without the eminence, but you are from Fl so its expected. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Lol, I was originally going to do the O2 audio 6.5"s but they run at $100 per speaker so thats kind of out of question being in coollege and all. My main goal w/ this system is to move tons of air and to be able to have huge amounts of pressure in the small cabin that I have. I'm questioning the ability of running the 2 18" BTL's due to the price of the subs alone. I've also been pondering the idea of 6 12" Audioque SD 2.5's. I can fit up to roughly 12 cu ft max by utelizing all of my corners. Clearly the 6 12"s would crush the 2 18"s in spl and possibly sq, the only catch with those is that I'm not exactly sure how I'd set up the port. The 6 12"s would be cheaper as well, which is always better lol. Any feedback?

Ok, I added a poll to the topic. I'm really leaning away from the BTL's because of the price on them. And yes, I can fit 2 18"s but it will take hours and hours of planning and cardboard to get it to my liking lol

North tarpon... like tarpon-holiday line... I'm not 100% on the cu. ft.. From my measurements, it was like 9-11cu.ft gross. It's going to be a tight fit though. The only thing I have against the Audioque 6 12"s is the tuning. I know they play below tuning etc. it's just that the 40hz tuned DD9515's I've heard, I wasnt impressed w/ their performance on music. I'm willing to consider any recommendations for sub/amp combos that are priced on a students budget level. Maybe I should do 4 12"s instead? Taking recommendations...

They use them in dueling demo classes. But those aren't just the horrific sounding pro audio type.
