Ideas for 2 12"s

I have a Power Acoustik A3000DB amp, and im looking for 2 12"s to get some power. I dont want to go mainstream, so im sticking to small companies. So far ive looked at the Bassworx 12.4, the DC Sounds Level 4, and am really interested in them. Space might be an issue, i have about 6 cubes gross to work with, this is going in the trunk of a 95 Honda Accord. And im definitely going to port the box. I mostly listen to bass heavy rap, some rock but i can use to remote to turn down the bass. I dont wanna spend more than $300 per. I would say im definitely looking for mostly SPL i want 'da*m loud' bass, however i do want some SQ for the rock. Anyone know of some solid 12's that can handle that amp?

if you only have 6 cubes to work with, I vote bl's. That is not enough room for the btl's to get there full potential

ah yeh i been lookin around at fi's site, BL's got it, how about HD3's, are they on the upper tier with the other subs?

the HD3's, in the application I heard were da*n loud. I would rate their sq closer to a btl because they are more spl orientated. What type of music do you listen to? how much are you willing to spend? is 6 cubes the absolute most you have to work with? are you looking for more SQ or SPL? if you answer these questions it will give us a better idea of what you are looking for

yah alot of people have been recommending the se's. but my last setup was a 15 sx, so i wanna go for something different than RE. thanks tho

i just got off SI's site actually, the mag aint too bad. unfortunately no i dont have the money for TC ever since their increase. arent the Fi Q's more sq, and the BL's more spl?

not sure wat u going for ...but for the bl's i would put 1500 on each and the pa3k amp is not going to put out that power unless u running 16volts

ah so you saying go with the Q so that the amp will be able to power it good. arent the q more sq based tho? im lookin for some more spl.

2 12 massive audio cw stage 2's is pretty much what your looking for . they get pretty dang loud and they sound pretty dang descent doing it. and that amp you have is perfect for them, had a planet audio vx2200d on mine and they hit real good. that pa3000d has the same exact board as the vx 2200d has,perfect combo and right around you price range!
