In terms of what? I'd chose ID subs over Hertz, but Hertz speakers of ID.

Well I'm looking at getting either the ID CTX or the Hertz HSK165

how much are you willing to spend????

both are great companies with good to great comp sets

sub-the IDmax is a nice beast, & the hertz ML3000 is amazing as well

both companies give you options for you to chose active or passive,

Also, which one's don't require that much tuning? I got an Alpine 9884 as a gift and I don't plan on getting rid of it. So I want which ever sound best right off the bat.

The ID CTX65 comps have very nice midmass, smooth detailed tweeters and very natural sounding mids. ID FTW IMO.
