Hey guys... Ok, so i have an IDMAX 12 d2 coming in the mail, and i need a box. I'm lazy as hell, and since it's going to be sealed, i'm going to buy a prefab. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

So don't say anything about that, please.

Anyway, my question is this:

I want the best SQ possible, for this type of music:

Rock, pop, slow songs....

I don't listen to rap, therefor i don't want a huge sealed box that isn't able to hit as fast and as high pitched, etc.

I was seeing that 1.5 cubes is optimal for the IDMAX sealed, but i was going to see what you guys think first. It'll be in the back of a probe hatch back, off a NINe.1.

Thanks for your help! MUCH appreciated! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

No it doesnt, a large sealed box will be most efficient and have the flattest response. A small sealed box will have a peak in the response, leading towards a more boomy sound. You shouldnt be running your sub over ~80hz also, so I'm not sure what you mean by "high pitched".
