I'd like some advice on what size subs to get

I currently have two 10" MTXs and was planning on getting an 18 JL.

Will that sound alright? I have boxes for the 10's but the 18 doesn't have a box, it is just going to be on a piece of fiberglass. Will that have a massive impact on the sound quaility? Should I try to make a box for it? also, becuase my truck has limited space, the 10s are set facing backwards but the 18 is facing upward. Is that a bad idea?

sorry for all the questions, byt I am a little bit clueless.

The 18" is the 18w3

and the MTXs are hmmm., you know, I don't even know.

It's for a Cutlass Supreme so my space is somewhat limited. I have emptied out the space where the spare tire goes so I have a recess there but it's a round hole so I'm thinking it's fairly useless.

naw, they were like 50 bucks each though, so they're probably one of the lower end models. They don't say on the front and I can't get to the back very easily. Thanks for the advice though guys.

4 cubes as in 4 cubic ft right? It seems that that would fit but it would be tight. Does orientation really matter though? Because if it needs to be facing back rather than up, it probably won't fit.
