ID better than old school RF?

Folks,

I am currently running a single 10" Rockford Fosgate RFR 2210 in a sealed enclosure of about 1 cubic foot. It's dual 4 ohm voice coils are wired in parallel providing my Alpine MRD-M300 with a 2 ohm load. That should be about 500 watts.

I feel like I need more and lower bass. I would like it to hit harder. I'm considering replacing the RF with an ID sub. I'd like to get two 12s, but can't afford it. So, I'm thinking of getting a single ID12D4 V.3 or an IDQ12D4 V.2. Which would be the better choice?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You may also consider the rsd 12. Has great low end on a budget for under 100. Cant go wrong with that or the idq 12. In my play time with both drivers the rsd droped a bit lower, but the id had a little more output.. Just curious, what is your budget? If you have a little over 100 to spend ide invest in the rsdc. Better sounding than both drivers imo, and can handle a ton of power, but doesnt require much to get it moving.

As the RSD, IDQ, and IDv3 are all great choices, you are missing something. A well built and designed ported box can produce just as clean a sound of a sealed box. It is all in the build and install. If you have space, maybe consider a larger sealed box for your current driver. It is always best to rebuild and spend much less on wood then spend more on a driver.
