Ia40.1 vs 2 sax 1500.1

so i just bought a freshly reconed shocker extreme "12 and im geting the other one i have reconed so that i will have two freshly coned "12.they are dual 1.4 or 0.7 so i need a amp that runs at 1/2ohm daily.which brings me to the question which amd set up should i run for the price.they say these subs can handly 2000rms daily.im more worryed about quality then i am price.i just wonder what everyone else thinks i should do.i want the ia40.1 but im thinking it would be easer on the amps if i ran the saz1500.1 n did one to each sub.let me know what u guys think.

well are they 1.4 or .07 lol? If they are 1.4 you could run them @2ohms since it would be near that after impediance rise and if there dual.07 you could run them @ 1ohm so...

Id go with the 40.1 rise after box rise you should be real close to 1ohm. Just have proper electrical to back it up and I would choose the 40.1

im goingto get the 300amp alt do the big three under the hood,get a yellow top and 4 batts in the trunk.plain on having the right electric system to do the job

In this setup a 40.1 would provide more power. If your worried about quality i don't think you can go wrong either way.

The 40.1 will definitely be stronger in this application as long as you have the electrical system to support it.

both are great amps but the 40.1 is a monster if you can provide 18 volts i think you wil scare old people and children. but i seen that 2 1500d's do like 7000 watts on high voltage so its kinda a toss up

depending on the imp. & voltage the 40.1 will do more than 4000
