IA 40.1 or AB 500.1??????

There are lots of 40.1 board shots on here. And I think I remember seeing some pics of the 500 but I could be mistaken. Since you are buying used, meaning cs isnt much of a factor I really think you cant go wrong with either.

Ive seen a 40.1 blow 3 separate times to my nextdoor neighbor......and he has still yet to get them back

This is going on a year the IA has had them for repair

well that was when he had one

When he put 2 in he had 2 nsb125s or 3 d3100s, 4 runs to the rear, and Iraggi 220 alt

And he didnt daily the 2 all that much, just for shows and 30sec SB runs

Well stock alt.....he always had at least a nsb125 in the rear

People burp all kinda stuff off 1 nsb90, and this is its bigger brother

Yehh...im sure it was prolly user, but just stating that he did infact blow 3

But the repair time is just horrendous.....it seriously has been close to a year

He doesnt call enough, id bug every week

I run a 40.1 on a 16V system daily and have never had a problem. Matter of fact it outlived my Z1a on same voltages . Polo

i say a 500.1 hands down. that thing is a beast and pretty much bullet proof. i havent heard of one blowing

yea i love the fact my 500.1 never gets warm to the touch ,i really never notice its on its always just room temp...... i do have it raised up 3/4" for air flow but heats just not an issue with these......
