i would love some HELP. with putting together a QUALITY SYSTEM

Hi i recently purchased a 2012 ford fiesta hatchback se and have had it for a while and ive been wanting to add a sub woofer and get some good deep bass going but then i thought i would rather have a complete good quality system for playing amazing detailed music such as wiz khalifa and drake things like that. i want the music to be very clear and crisp. without going hella high to rattle my **** apart. i mean im sure ill turn it up sometimes but i usually listen to it like medium to high volume but i don't like listing to it way up... so good quality clear crisp sound with deep bass that can all be heard good with the volume down lower too.

so what i know so far.. i have 2 6 1/2 speakers and 2 tweeters in the front.

in the back just 2 6 1/2 speakers. the speakers are where im having the most trouble.. i want ones that only do the mids and highs cuz i was told that if im gonna get a nice sub which i definatly am then i should get good speakers and tweeters to not do the lows and only highs and mids and ****. is that true? will that carry the voice and high pitched sounds through better to all come together to be more clear and better sounding?

as u guys can tell im a huge noob to this... and a first time buyer and frankly dont know **** XD hahaha but anyways hopfully with your guys help i can get a bad *** car audio system that will do what i want.

i think i want a 12 inch subwoofer. my friend told me to buy the amp box and sub all separate cuz when they come together they are shity?? he might just be a buyist *** hole? but anyways all i know is i want a sealed 12 inch subwoofer that will give me deep good quality bass but not too crazy

and i already know what kit to get... there is only one... lol

no idea on amps or any of the other **** please fill the rest in XD

ohh yeahu guys are probably gonna ask budget.. and i would love for it to be cheap and would love to get some suggestions for bang for your dollar but sence i really want quality if u know of something that could really just be ******* amazing or something and its kinda pricey i might still be into it. i mean i got a **** ton of money to do it. i just dont want to go over 1500 but whoknows **** happens.. it might be alot cheaperthan that idk... u tell me? please

I'm one of the vendors here. I can help any idea on what size or how many subs ? Start off with a decent deck. The components up front. Leave the rears stock for now. Deaden the doors amp the components. 4 channel amp. Then sub box and amp also amp kits for them. Dash kit harness. Big 3 kit

If your on a budget for your 6.5 speakers an tweeters id recommend the Crescendo pwx 6.5s an FT1 tweeter. there great on the price get loud an sound great an can take power as well.

and for how many subs idk.. i think i just want 1 12 but this guy wants me to get 2 12s. whats the difference between 1 sub and 2 subs in one box?

also how do i tell if speakers and subs are better than others??

and deadin the doors? how do i get that done? will that keep the noise in? i haven't heard any one talking about this subject yet im still very new but it sounds like something i would love to have done? how?

long story short, turn your car door into a speaker enclosure to get deep male vocals and midbass kicks brought out since thats the weakness of almost every aftermarket system. Reduce road noise so it does not interfere with your overall sound. Test to see which speaker location is the best and make a proper baffle to ensure a proper seal and airtight fit. To get great results the quality of the installation is KEY. You can have the most expensive speakers in the world but if you dont install them properly they will still sound like @ss.

Deep bass, you'll need a properly made ported box, sealed boxes have a hard time playing low notes loud enough for it to sound even with normal 40hz-50hz range bass. A properly Designed ported box can sound as good and most times better then a sealed box, the myth of ported boxes sounding like cr@p are from the noobs that buy garbage pre-made boxes online.

The difference between one or two 12s will be loudness. You choose subwoofers based on how much space you want to give up, so go out to your trunk and measure the length x width x height of the amount of space you want to give up in your car for your subwoofer. Subs in a cramped box will sound horrible compared to subs in a proper box.

Most aftermarket speakers dont play low bass well at all, they mainly focus on midrange vocals and sparkly highs. Need a Budget as in specific dollar amounts here or else people will recommend you 1000 dollar components left and right along with $$$$$ amps.

Your friend is right about avoiding bass packages, they are usually the worst junk on the market packaged into one.

make sure you check with the forum before you buy stuff or pay a shop anything so you avoid buying garbage or getting ripped off.

so for my budget i decided i want to spend around 1000 and 1500 is my very max.

so guys i got the first step done by purchasing the only radio kit they make for my car through ''advanced car stereo" and then i purchased a good head unit.

ill post a pic of the radio i got.. its the kenwood excelon KDC-X399 please tell me if i got a shity stereo for some reason.

i also decided that i want to go with just one good 12 sub in tthe trunk and im dealing with 39 inches(wide) 17(length) and 32 iches deep its a hatchback.

the guy in the store that ive been talking tofor the past 2 days is telling me to get a 5 channel amp from kicker with 1200 amps and its certified at 701 amps. is that a good choice?? he told me to get that cuz then u would run the 4 speakers to the 4 channels thenu would have one channel left for the sub.

why would i not get speakers for the back seat yet?

also on speakers the guy told me that if i want clear *** speakers then i should get HERTZ what do u guys think of this brand for speakers?
