I turned everything off but i came out side and my car needs to be jumped.

I think my amp stayed on even though my car turned off for some reason. Thats the only thing i can think of i turned all the lights off

remote could be shorted inside the amp

whats your remote wire running to, is it ran to the hu remote wire? if not maybe you taped into a consant 12v wire or fuse

yea my remote wire is hooked up in the appropriate place.

I hooked up a second amp yesterday, i dont know if that would have to do with anything. But nothing like this has happend till I installed the 2and amp. But I dont think the 2and amp is big enough to drain my car battery, since it only pushs 60 watts.

I actaully saw the red power light stay on my orion 2500D when i turned my car off, i though hmm thats weird but i thought it would just turn off

well whats it doing now? if the amp stayed on and you seen it then, it should be your remote wire is staying hot, unless there is some strands of power wire, touching the remote terminal by accident

your power wire and remote wire could possibly touching at the terminals have you checked that??

that might be it right there. The electrical tape came off my powerwire

electrical tape FTL, thats why I have terminal connectors on each end of my power and ground wires
