I was wandering. I have 2 sony xplod subs they are rated at 250w RMS. what RMS would an amp have to be to make these subs hit?

Anything from 250-400 watts would work well.

you could get a amp that matched the output.. but it wouldn't be nessary.. no harm in properly underpowering them

Why waste potential output by under powering them???

i was going to recommend over powering them

try giving them 400 watts rms a sub... see how they like it
