I witnessed the most horrifying thing ever

Well, to some it might not, but i just found my dog kinda coughing and cackling. Then she leaned over against one of the dining room chairs. When she fell over to the floor i ran over to find she was not breathing but still moving her head looking at me. Then i proceeded to rub her side and she began breathing again and laid there for 5 minutes, then walked about as if nothing had happened.
It was the most scariest thing i have ever witnessed, next to my supervisor at target.

By the way my dog is Boxer pure bred. I heard they only live about 12-14 years. Her time is coming sadly though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

what was it it? Seizure? heartattack? false alarm (doubt it)? NEED HELP.

I am going to make an appointment with the Animal Specialist and see whats wrong.

at least she's been around for some time. its good when a dog lives a long life, there lives are so short as it is. its really f**ked up when the die at a young age. i just hope my dog live to be 12.

yeah i know it's so **** messed up how the lifecycle on canines are so short lived but thats how it is and nothing can be done about it. All i can is hope for the best for her.

didnt read the whole thread but sorry to hear that. My dog( astraillian shepperd) since i was 5 had a stroke at 14 and suffered brain damage. She lost the ability to keep her balence and went deaf. i had to put her down... very painful to expierience.
