am a mod.
i just downloaded the demo of this game, it was 650mb for about 20 minutes of play.
if anyone is up for incredible graphics, awesome gameplay, and some thrilling and quite gruesome spots - you MUST play this game.
however, nothing shy of a radeon 9600 will even be able to play this game. i have an XP2800 @ 1.9ghz, a geforce6600GT, 1gb of ram, and some other stuff, and i was getting 30 frames per second with the graphics at medium and the resolution at 1024x768. it will tax any computer you can get your hands on, so people with older machienes wont get the fun of playing this short demo.
some of the "paranormal" spots in the demo reminded me of the max payne nightmares, there is the bullet time mode like max payne, but mix in the interaction of halflife2, with the atmosphere and graphics of doom3, but add a sweet plot (somewhat cliche) and make it practically horror film quality. its freggin incredible.
i just finished playing this demo, and i wasnt sure id like the spooky plot - im not much of a horror guy, but ****, the self shadows are freaking scary, i jumped like 5 times just becase my shadow was on the wall beside me when i turned.
definatly a MUST play of 2005.
