I witnessed the most horrifying thing ever

Make sure she's on a proper diet for a dog of her age - she may have just eaten something outside //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you see a dog eating grass, they're having stomach problems / indigestion or something;

Some dogs get fatty deposits, kinda like tumors, in old age; Perhaps something is blocking her airway.

I wishya the very best man - awesome dog.

my cockatiel that I had for a 5 years spent her last days with me...next to my bed...on my shoulder

she was never that friendly

the last night of her life....she wanted to be by herself...like she knew

she got behind a porcelain figure of a dog...made her last chirp and died.....

it was a pretty bad feeling that I still cant get over....I know how you feel about your dog.

I hope everything is well

this is terrible, can i see pics of the dog?
also dont sacrifice your dog unless you're sure hes going to die, i see people sacrificing their dogs under stupid circumstances, like they're trying to get rid of them

i condem these people for this... take your dogs to the latest measures before sacrificing him (i mean, i hope this is not the case)
I disagree, you are probably one of those owners who will put your dog on 10 different medications just to live, thats not fair to the dog IMO. My dog of 16 years could either have gone on 2 different medications or put down, we put him down. Dont drug up a dog when its their time to go, as much as it sucks to let go, **** it up and think of the animal.

crazy how we dont apply this logic to humans either...

i could only imagine what it would be like without my dog around here, that would ****, i think it would be as bad as a good freind, to come home and no one to play around with, boring as hell! even though hes a fat *** dog hes still teh shit

I could have been something that just didnt go down right. It kinda seems to me that it could have been choking. Of course when the dogs get older they will become more sensitive to certain things. Ive owned several dogs and when I know that the dog is just too sick, I knew just let it go. I had a small chihuahua mix and everytime it would drink its water it would just cough it right out a couple minutes later. It also wouldnt eat. The vet mentioned that medication would help it out but it would still die within months. So I chose to put it to sleep. And its literally that. They go away pretty calm and relaxed.

good luck man, we had to put my dog down he was 14 ( this christmas), got him when I was 4.. he was part shepard, part lab.. one of the best things to ever walk this planet... I dont want to have another dog for along time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif R.I.P. deke

Hope he's alright post an update
it's a "she" mind you.

Well from what the vet and specialists say she had an acute seizure. The reason is unknown but most likely because of her old age, as of now and we got her some medication //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif It's funny watching my mom attempt force feed her the medication cause she refuses to open her mouth.

If my dog does leave my family i swear to god the house will bever be the same //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
