Im running active.

Tweets are highpassed on an active crossover.

Mids are highpassed on an active crossover.

The active crossover lacks a lowpass crossover to put on the mids.

I have a pair old eclipse sc8254 passive crossovers. Can I run the 2 mids on each side, each on a passive crossover, without changing the impedance of the load?

4 ohm mid +parallel+ 4 ohm mid ---> passive crossover ---> amplifier

Will the amp still see a 2ohm load?

I'm not a passive crossover expert, but those crossovers are most likely designed for 4 ohm woofers. Two 4 ohm woofers in parallel will present a 2 ohm load, while at rest, to the crossover. It will not give you the same low pass filter characteristics as if you connected one 4 ohm woofer.
