yes it would be louder. if you didnt have to sacrifice box volume for the 18 to make space for the 8s
Yea I can get 7.5+ cuft behind my seats..

I also put in 2001 Grand Prix GTP Leather buckets in the truck so it has a huge gap running between the seats...that's where anything else would go..

To answer your question. The real answer is no it wont be. You should really learn to take advice when it is given. I have built systems that have set world records and dominated spl clasaes. I have also built world class sq cars. I'm telling you that your don't know anything what so ever. If you don't like truth you should exit the thread.
right? i typed a freakin novel to try and help this stupid kid and he tells me to just start listing systems? howbout you go ahead and build your system the way you want it? you want it loud? do it up dont ask advice you obvoisly know all about it so get an 18 put it in some crappy box you built out of plywood and toss that 5 thousand watt amp in there hooked up with 10 awg power wire, wire it to the wrong impedence and run it all off your mighty alternator and napa battery. then come show all of us up.

Ok start listing some successful setups that are in the $2,000 Range (just sub(s) and amp(s) for $2,000) Everything else is taken care of lol this isn't my first system I have a nice head unit and electrical is on point...

So lay on the setups...

LOL this is not advice bro...
Yes it is, leave the forum if you don't like the advice we have, that is my advice to you.

If you run two different types of subs, then you can have a tangled mess of frequencies all over the place which will lead to a loss of loudness and sound quality.

sony xplod 12, walmart light up sealed box, dual 300 watt amp.

audioque 3500 is like 7xx i thinkdc audio level 5 18 is like 6xx i think

that would be very loud and sound **** good. ive owned and heard both of those so these are experiance based choices

good luck
Awesome suggestion man, I appreciate it. I've heard good things about DC and I have owned AQ in the past. I prefer DD though! I just love the quality...my boy has a 20 year old DD that has never skipped a beat, ****'s crazy.

Don't know why you recommended the cheapest 300watt models those companies make, but NO...lol. However the Sa8's or Sa10's are nice. Why would enclosure size mean the difference on buying Digital Designs...more like the 1800$ price tag for one of their amps, not the size of the enclosure..
But eh I'm thinking 1 Fi Btl 18 / 2500 watt amp (Orion, Sundown, or DD) and 2 L7 8"s / 1000 watt amp (Any decent one)
well he could buy a freakin' wall of dcon's if he had the space.. and skars get loud as hell, check pbmatt's sig.. and idk what i ment by the enclosure space ha, I was just throwing out quick suggestions. I knew someone with knowledge and experience would come by and add to this!

well....say he had the 8s on an amp tuned higher and boxes so they worked as like midbass its plausible right?
