i want TIGHT bass... what do i go with? help plz....

I am going to have a JL 12 inch w6 version 1 pushed by a JL 250/1 and puttin it in the trunk of my neon. I would rather tight bass rather then big boom...... so should i go with a sealed box rather then ported? Everyone told me go with a ported but i think thats because they think i want boom..... i want clean, tighter bass hits.... sooo.... sealed or ported?

Sealed should work for you. Get WinISD and find the box volume yielding a qtc of 0.707. That should fit your needs (unless your car has a high noise floor, then you can go slightly higher than 0.707 to overcome it)
