I have my bad *** custom 10" and a Stetsom 2k5, that I would be willing to trade if someone has a good laptop that will support my needs.

I am not a gamer, however autocad is in the mix, I obviously want media. I killed my 5 year old HP, so pretty much anything is going to be faster than what I had, but I don't want outdated crap. windows 7 or XP, I don't want vista. I would really LOVE a back lit keyboard

I am not a computer nerd, so I will have to check with my peps to verify the value and if it fits my needs. Sorry if I delay in getting back to you.

It is ready to ship as my brother is shipping it to me from Atlanta, I want it but need a computer more than I need another sub. I will get pics of the Stetsom later.

I have an hp elitebook 6930p, 14.1'' screen.

has p8400 processor, artic 5 silver thermal compound on cpu and gpu, light scribe, built in bluetooth, wifi, webcam, night light for keyboard, 3gb ram, rugged build, spill proof keyboard

doesn't come w/ battery, theres a nick in the AC charging wire jacket cover, but it charges/powers perfectly fine (comes w/ ac charger), has some scratches, and 2 cracks in the plastic.

$400 shipped w/ a 160 gb harddrive. $450 w/ a 500GB hdd. Has the serial code/sticker for vista, but I have an illegal copy of windows 7 (updates, not a trial) on it.

Also have a 17'' dell inspiron. Has some scratches on it, the mp3 buttons on the front are worn, has a yellow top, 2 gb of ram, I think it has a T5000 series processor, I can check if your interested. I have an illegal copy of windows 7 on it as well, has built in wifi and 2 harddrive bays.

$400 shipped w/ 160 gb hdd, $450 w/ 500gb hdd. comes w/ battery + ac charger

Both laptops work perfectly.

The elitebook has an express slot you can load an SSD into, and the dell has a 2nd harddrive bay you can load an SSD into.

Even if you don't buy one of these, I'd recommend you get an SSD and load the programs you use for autocad onto it along w/ the operating system, its defiantly worth the speed improvement. then use a standard hdd for the rest of your info. if you buy an ssd I can send you a copy of the windows 7 cd I use or if you ship the ssd to me I can install it for you.

LMK if you have anythign else for trade, I'm not interested in that amp or sub.

although i dont think toshiba's are the fastest computers, i cant deny the fact that my $500 toshiba (i paid 500 three years ago) has yet to fail me and my school/audio/autocad needs.
I had an old toshiba satellite that had major problems. Not only that, but they have the worst customer service i've ever seen of any business IMHO.

I could rant for hours about those punks at toshiba
