i want a better head unit, than the one that i've got. i'm wondering what you people think about volfenhag cd recievers. this one is flip down and detachable face, 200 watts and i think comes with a remote.

deffinately Eclipse. low resistance high voltage outputs........great features, looks great. Sound quality above all else. Just watch which one u get the lower level are just good recievers nothing really sets them apart, but when u get into the higher end stuff it's the best

maybe this guy should give us a price range instead of you guys rattling off h/u's that can cost up to a grand. anyway eclipse are good h/u's just extremly plain and i'd take a nak. over an eclipse anyday. my personal favorite goes to the pioneer's seeing as how i've used them for over 2 years now and only reason i don't have the same h/u is b/c i constantly upgrade my system. anyway the important question what is your price range my man??

I agree with bumpin_blazer, first determine your price range then find a h/u that is aesthetically pleasing to you and has the options you want/need. All the high end brands make excellent units, Pioneer Premier, Kenwood, Alpine, Eclipse, etc. All I can vouch for is the durability of the Pioneer as I had someone break into a car I used to have and attempt to steal my h/u. But when they found out it didn't have a detachable face, they proceeded to rip the face off anyway. The same night we had a rainstorm and I found my Pioneer laying in a puddle in my floorboard. I plugged her back in, reattached my faceplate, and she worked perfectly for the next two years; then I sold the car. Best of luck in your search!
