Message: <blockquote data-quote="setshot50" data-source="post: 66921" data-attributes="member: 544660"><p>I agree with bumpin_blazer, first determine your price range then find a h/u that is aesthetically pleasing to you and has the options you want/need.  All the high end brands make excellent units, Pioneer Premier, Kenwood, Alpine, Eclipse, etc.  All I can vouch for is the durability of the Pioneer as I had someone break into a car I used to have and attempt to steal my h/u.  But when they found out it didn't have a detachable face, they proceeded to rip the face off anyway.  The same night we had a rainstorm and I found my Pioneer laying in a puddle in my floorboard.  I plugged her back in, reattached my faceplate, and she worked perfectly for the next two years; then I sold the car.  Best of luck in your search!</p></blockquote><p></p>
