i wanna turn the sub louder

but i cant or i will blow my speakers. how do i make all the bass leaave my speaks for crystal sound but still bump with my sub? i have a gtx-500 is that possible with that head unit or do i need to install bass blockers

get a crossover.

highs - tweeters

mids - woofer

lows - subwoofer

or if you set your gains properly, you shouldn't have a problem with distortion whether your at vol. 2 or vol 22. should be teh same if your gains are correct.

What are the particulars of your system like the HU, speakers you are having issues with, and amp?

ya can fade the front speakers to the rear if your subs are for the rear or get bass blockers or a crossover for your speakers you want to get the bass out of.

my amp has a built in crossover. i want no bass coming from my speaks so i get clear sound from them and then i want the bass to just come from the sub

hu is gtx-500

amp is rock fos punch 450

sub is polk momo 1000w

Is that a Punch P450.4 or P450.2?

Is it only powering the sub?

Is the HU powering the front speakers?

Mine does so I can get more out of my sub.. And like what luvinthebass said, use fades to get more out of your sub for now?
