I spent $146 on an algebra book this semester. A classmate told me she got hers on amazon.com for $16 brand new, and the instructors edition too. College bookstores FTL!

Because I spent $117 on a science book for school, that most likely I can't re-sell because the bastards come out with a new edition every semester.
And it's not even a hard cover! It's a soft cover, and not even an inch thick. The book consists of pictures of rocks and a bunch other crap about the atmosphere.

my book total was 760, but i was really pissed because i got a ten percent off coupon and when i was ordering my books i was told i couldnt use the coupon unless i bought my books in store in person... i was then told that if I didnt order them online i would have to find my spanish book and calculus book elsewhere because they were probably going to sell out that day... i wanted to **** something up

You'll save a ton on textbooks. I've gotten books there and resold them for more to other students at the end of the quarter. Especially international editions which are basically softback versions of the books you use there.
