I don't like when companies take advantage of the little guy. In this case, we have a noob wondering about purchasing an 8w7.

The JL Tech explains that it's a high-efficiency woofer (82db.) so he'll need a big box.

And that he should also pick up a Cleansweep.

And an iPod adapter, while he's at it.

Or, just buy the 10w3 and Stealthbox combo!

With a 250/1, of course.

It upset me, so I did my best to let 'im have it.

well, for one thing, the JL tech saying the user should use the box reccomended by JL (for the JL speaker in question) doesn't sound to out of place.

the JL tech seems to be saying what he has in his system. i don't see where he ever says the other person should get any of these products.

i don't see where the tech really tried too hard to take advantage of anyone.

One thing to worth note, it some newer vehicles it is **** near impossible to replace the factory HU, or sometimes it just looks like total ***.Some people like a half decent looking dash.
