Will this Sub work in a sealed enclosure, behind the third row seat of Lincoln Navigator/ford expedition? I really want to keep the third row seat.. If not can anyone recommend a set of 12's that would fit the bill.. I'll be running these subs off Hifonics Brutus 1200 mono amp

Any replies would be great. I hope I didn't &**^ myself.... help

the guys at this one shop said that it needed alot of Room to breathe.... and in that tight of a space it can sound muffled sometimes... I'm not sure do you have any experience in this? or knowledge or can you point me in the right direction.

Another retarded statment buy a car audio shop.

As long as you build the recomended enclosure size you will be fine.

Thanks for the replies guys.. But I think my problem is the space that I want to place the subs.. Its HAS to fit behind the 3rd row seat of a navi or expedition truck.. I really don't want to take the third row out to have a big, hugh, large enclosure takening up the space.. The space i'm talking about is.. about 17" from the height of the rear seat and rear door. about 49" from side to side, an of course there is a slight angle when the seat in the upright position. I really don't know what to do.

So what do you have? An expodition(SUV) or a Navigator(Truck or SUV).

You can build the box to fit behind the 3rd row seat of a expo, and when you remove the 3rd row seat push it back to the second row seats.

I have the Navi. But I want to make sure that I can leave behind the 3rd row seats and it still hit hard and sound good.. Not muffled.... Can you or someone give me guidance on what to do.. Or can someone provide to a person that can build a great enclosure?

Contact someone like Jmac on here. They'll charge you something like $10 for a box design with build plans. And, like I said....with that moofer, I'd go ported.
Thanks squeak9798, not sure if a Moofer (woofer) is a good or bad thing... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

But I did PM Jmac and I hope he will have good news for me..

I have that woofer iin my girls car right now. It sound best in a ported box. Im running 2.3 cubes tuned to 35 HZ and the box has like 35 square of port. They are nice sounding subs and get loud for the price.
