I think i got ripped off..

I was buying an ED nine.4 for my comps, on ebay.. paid him as soon as i won the auction with the buy now through paypal, i got a package in the mail from him, filled with those packing peanuts, and a letter in there saying "have a nice day" i emailed him, never got anything back, so i filed a complaint with paypal, and aparently he submitted the tracking number to paypal that was the box of nothing... so paypal took his side and im out close to $300.

Theres no way to get him back for this, or what...?

Anyone ever heard of this before?

The last time I got ripped off, I wouldn't let the guy go...he was part of a volunteer EMS service in his hometown, convienently with his contact information and address, and phone number //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Although he was in IL, I made sure to call him continually...and post on his EMS messageboard how he was an awful seller, didn't keep his word and tried to screw hard-working people out of their income.

Needless to say, I got my $150 in the end //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
