i oppose any drugs. i dont think it should be legal bc then itll be one more excuse for some 16 year old kid to use it and screw up his life. ive seen too much crap happen to ppl i no in my life bc of drugs that i literally hate drugs. drugs should be ***** by satan twice lol. LMAO. but no dont legalize IMO
yeah because people die of weed overdoses and **** dick for there next joint all the time:rolleyes: i can honestly say ive never seen anyone try and sell some stolen stuff to get there hands on that next joint....worst case scenario when the your weed dealer dries up.... you get emotional...worse case scenario when you are blazed....you make the dudes snack cake inventory numbers for the week at 7-11 go up

swiss cake rolls and chocolate milk ftmfw

i dont smoke it either it seems the goverment is all about making money now days and new taxes. i agree that if it was legalized they would make a ton also would be no more delers that would take up space in jails for marajuana possession.

ehh people who smoke will smoke anyways. you still wont be able to do it in public places, and there isnt really strict laws against it now. Besides, if it gets legalized, price will skyrockettt (especially if our shithead of a pres and the members of congress) if we have a centralized health system
And why wouldn't you be?? It would be the same as lighting up a cigarette in public //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I think bud should be legal and i dont smoke ANYTHING. What surprises me is the government could tax the shit out of that stuff, i dont know why they dont legalize it.
This. It also help Mexico with their Cartel problem. Threat it like liquor. Don't

drive while smoking or high and tax it. Simple. That's a billion dollar plus industry right there, and it'll help the economy too, but people are

closed minded. Hell they even try to ban comic books at one time.

THANK YOU!!! If only more people thought like you man. And it's not even the dealers that take up room in the jails (which YOUR tax dollars pay for them to be there) it's the people like you and me who get caught with a couple grams stuffed in the bottom of their bookbags at school

Yeah there are more positives than bad. I smoke casually when I can, and I've never harmed my girl or our kids. Never done anything stupid while high but eat like a beast, and yet I still managed to graduate college. My point is though their are more people who smoke casually than the people they image as drop outs and shit. I knowa few who support themselves or their families who haven't had any trouble with their lifes. Sure for every dozen apples there is a rotten one, but thats besides the fact.

You wanna fix the economy quick, legalize pot and be smart about it. No one under 21 can buy it and so on. Hell one of most relaxing things to do is set on my balcony at night and smoke. I pay taxes, went to school, got a job, and pay back school loans like any other so called American. Just monitor it. It'll get rid of the dealers and another way to cut down occupation in the prison system. Just my 10 cents...

How much good would it do? Well let's see...... you could legalize it, tax the HELL out of it and put the money back into our crippled healthcare system. Or maybe use the money to pay off some of the U.S's deficit. You're right it wouldn't do that much good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Lets recongnize that in America, alcohol is way more popular than marijuana. Just on alcohol alone, can you tell me much profit is made? Kee in mind, profit is after money to keep regulations, enforcement of the regulations, etc.

Besides, how is this thread not founded by the other argument of, 'I mainly want them to legalize it so I can smoke it without violating the law to just get high'.

And why is alcohol more "popular" as u call it? Because its readily available to anyone over the age of 21 in most places. Anyone of age can go right down the street and pick up a 12 pack. Don't you think if marijuana was legal, and as readily available as alcohol it would be as "popular"?? Just a thought.......

whats worse than it not being legal is the current drug laws in our country.

I think drugs are not good but to give some one 10 years for 4 1/2 ounces of coke or 20 years in the feds for 24 ounces of meth automatic or 12 years for 50 pounds of weed is crazy to me. Its not good to sell drugs but to take someones life away for doing it is crazy.

I know guys who got less for murder than other guys who had drug cases.

If we put them away for 20 year shouldnt a child molester or ****** just go straight to death row? Rapists and molesters get 3-7 years for destroying someones life.

Our drug laws are a big reason that we have the worlds largest prison population.

But you wont get penelized for smoking it though......
Yea imagine sitting in the middle of church or a crowded area and lighting one up without getting arrested. I personally dont smoke it but yea...I got a couple friends that would enjoy that lol. Would benefit everyone really...could be taxed a bit and pull even more money into the governments overpayed wallets and st00f. BUT then again cops would no longer have a reason to arrest black people //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I like beer, never smoked in my life. But I really don't see any difference to society in weed or alcohol. If one is illegal, the other should be too. If one is legal with regulations, the other should be too....

You just said some of the reasons; avalability, and it's acceptance. I don't know why you used quotes aroud popular other than to suggest that you deny it. Wake up. It is.

So here's a better one for you. Marijuana has been around for a long time, but really hit America during the 50s and 60s. For a half century, all the petitions, all the songs, all the media and all of the legal issues that support marijuana have only legalized it for medicinal use. You can't tell me that people haven't thought to tax it. MANY years of it being illegal say that taxing will not be enough to outweigh it's negative effects. I fully believe that any idea that anyone has brought up on here that supports marijuana has already been thought of, brought to congress, and finally denied at least once. How have all of you not thought of this already? Did the last decades od pro-marijuana never happen just because you didn't think about it?
