this saddens me deeply that RE is jacking the price while at the same time jacking off thinking that thier informed internet fan base of customers (who i might add helped bring this company from the ground up) would pay such god awfule high prices.....WTF?

My MX sounds just as good as a W7 IMO, and i have seen some SX sound as good as a W7 or better.

I won't comment on the MX because I haven't used it at all, but have you ever listened to an SX? or a W7 for that matter?

You can gain a lot of SQ with a proper install, but even with great installs, the SX does not sound anywhere near as good as a W7. The comparison shouldn't even be made. Don't get me wrong, SX's are quite loud, but that's their niche...they are not sq drivers.

As far as the company move. It angers me a bit strictly because I'm used to the pricing the way it was...but if I were in their shoes I'd do the same thing. The jump to the mainstream market should really boost their profits if their products take hold, which they should. I say congratulations to them. Remember, there will ALWAYS be a company with great equipment trying to make it, and doing so with the help of the internet cult...**** up the pride and switch companies.

These people disgust me. I can't even explain why, I just get an intense feeling of disgust when I think about it. Also, I can't see anyone paying more than a W7 for an RE product. It just does not work.

Yeah, that's pretty fuckin shady. There is absolutely no excuse for swearing at the people who made you who you are.

As much as I congratulate the company for jumping into the mainstream market...I hope they fail. Their products are likely good enough to stick with the big names, but nobody knows that..and the people that do know their products (ie us) are being ignored and left out to dry. I agree his actions are rather idiotic, but he is not the president of the company. he actually controls not anything of the company, he was just the face man on the itnernet, and he has admitted to this. I think it would be rather humurous to see them fail as well. Although I wish no foul upon them, I just simply will not promote nor purchase thier products. I always wanted to try a XX, I guess that is a lot desire now.
