OK, for anyone about the semi old school remembers when the sub woofer was about 15-20 lbs. tops. Jeez, I am going to go through all my old stuff in storage and see what my first speaker was. I think it was 2 12" Crankensteins with a amp that could burn my hand and sear my flesh. Does anyone remember "the good old days?"

I can remember when I was a "****ed" kid. It almost seems I do that everytime I hear someone playing loud near my home. I NEVER used to do that:uhoh: ... Punk kids...

I've got some ~1950s Magnavox and Westinghouse speakers along with a Jensen 12" sub, some nameless stuff from the 70s, Beals and Sparkomatic from the 80s and 90s, all great stuff (Well maybe not the Sparkomatics =p)

But we can't live in the past after all. We have to work with the tools we're given, or live our lives on NOS.

I remeber when a Kicker comp 12 was the baddest *** thing any of us had ever seen (prior to the current goth-squares) and the round solobarics were unattainable price-wise. I had a friend with 2 Impact 10's in a chevy luv truck that just pounded. They probably sounded like poo, but I didn't know any better at the time.
