I REALLY need help!

I know Im very very stupid (because I **** and dont know anything about wiring). But can someone tell me how to hook up my bass blockers IN DETAIL and in a simple form so I can try to do this. BTW I have the speaker hooked up WITHOUT the bass blocker (it's a small speaker for my hatch) because I just got pissed and hooked it up without it. I also have it hooked up through a harness (because I dont know shit about wiring it up without one).

So if anyone could whip up a photo step by step instruction with Paint or just do a step by step "For DUmmies" type instruction thing for me. Thank you and PLEASE help me, I've called Crutchfield and honestly I dont know a **** thing about what they are telling me (their accents don't help either).

Picture this in you head-

The positive speaker wire...

take a chunk out of that wire..

Replace the missing chunk with the bass blocker...

Not rocket science, you just want the signal to go through the blocker before it gets to the speaker.

Think of it as a water filter and the speaker wire is the hose.

You want to filter the water before it gets to the speaker.

So cut the positive harness wire and then strip the bass blocker and tape the wires together?

I wouldn't simply tape the wires together...either use a proper crimped connection, or twist, solder, and heat shrink over it.

SO thats all I have to do then? JUst strip a piece of the blocker and take the wiring harness and snip the ends of it. Then put the two together? I was thinking that but I didnt want to **** anything up, because I **** with wiring.

Wait....I had a vacation to go to, back to try this. Thought of something, couldn't I just plug the bass blocker in and then the other end (with the single prong into the wiring harness....instead of the stripping the wires). I just thought of it.....so don't flame me.
