It was a really hard decision for me to go with the XXX or the Mag. At the time no one was selling an XXX but I'm still happy nonetheless...

Looking forward to your review once you get those babies installed! I know it's a shame you never got to hear those mags ported. i prefer the mag.
my friend has the xxx 15 on 1200 watts from pg tantrum 1200.1 and to the ear my Mag was louder getting 1000 from a crossfire vr1000d. But if you have 1500+ watts the xxx really shines. Remember it is rated at 1600 rms.

Actually your friend's Tantrum is doing 1400watts at least, as that's their rating. Prolly right around 1500. Both of mine birthed at over 1550 watts.
