yea... looks like a pre fab. doesnt look like too bad of quality tho (well, atleast for a prefab, lol)... i think its more a wiring/electrical/phase problem

I haven't read through the whole thread, but I know how many people don't know what a night and day difference an enclosure makes.

yea... thats what i was thinking at first... but from his dimensions, pics, and explination... i dont think its the box... unless he just has COMPLETELY unrealistic expectations for it... which i dont think he does

That looks exactly like my friends setup he has a RF 501bd and those 2 subs and it pounds.

the only settings are sub filter which is off and phase 180-0 and thats at 0 . the gain is 1/4 and xover is at 75-90.

do u have subwoofer setting on deck turned down?

does your deck have crossovers in it?

does your deck have a "media expander"?

The new cvrs are terrible I have installed new ones and the older model around 08 09 and the old ones got loud easy!

i have them sounding right now. hit twice as hard. the wire from the battery to the fuse was only about 1/4 atached. re-did it and ****. very nice
