Hi, I've had a lot of luck finding valuable info on here, soi thought I would try once again. I have a 2005 explorer. I had 2 re audio sxx15's with an alpine mrp2000 amp enclosed in a l port 6.2cu inch box. And it slammed. Actually my truck was falling apart! Lol ive sold that one now I'm looking to downgrade. I'm wanting to convert my mach sub system into a 10" sub with a mono amp. I've researched the size of the enclosure. It's .32cu inch enclosure. I can't figure out which 10" sub would work to the best of my ability with the size I have. Does anyone out there know what would work the best for me? Or would I be better off using a 8" sub? Hope someone can help. Thanks for inquiring about my problem.

The space that I'm talking about is were the factory subwoofer is located in the rear passenger side cargo area. I'm just tired of the old big boxes taking up space. This way you wouldn't even known I had a sub in the back except for the bass. I have gotten on the explorer forum and saw were people have changed the space from a 8" to a 10". But I want to use the correct sub for the airspace given. I know how critical airspace is for a subwoofer to preform correctly and breath efficiently. And help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

John

You might be able to do some Fiber glassing, and molding an enclosure of the stock location, and get a Dayton sub in there/10in maybe,or an SA 8in?
