I-personalize and the Alpine CDA 7998R

I have recently purchased the Alpine CDa7998R which apparently has the i-personalize feature, this is the first time I have used i-personalize and more than a little confused so have a few questions I was hoping some people could help me out with.............

1. I have been on the Alpine Website and made myself a set up for my system, but once I have burnt the CD and put it in my deck nothing happens?? What am I doing wrong and what format should I burn the disc in??

2. Is there a site where I could download the specific time correction settings for my 1990 BMW E30, or even somewhere I could find the recommended settings?
