I now see why all our packages get destroyed.

i have worked for most of the carriers.... dhl was by far the worst... when you work at these places you have to move fast and im talking really fast... ups was the best as far as careing about packages and preventing shit from breaking... hell i drove a forklift forks through a crated pwc.... nothin like a seadoo with two giant holes..... supervisor said go and dont stop... i went and didnt stop... im sure someone was pissed but oh well that one was on the supervisor not me i couldnt see the thing... i also while at ups drove a k-loader(big piece of equipment used to load jets about three stories talla nd long as a bus) into a 737 and grounded it for 3 hours for inspection when i was being trained... i have tons of stories from all the shippers... ups is my pref by far... two strangest things i ever saw shipped were at DHL a whale... yes a real life live whale.... in a 747... peta was all over it sucked... and bullsperm at ups....

bullsperm you say? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

no, in all honestly. I'm not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Oh, well it is much higher quality you should really check it out. There are all these rules that the butcher must follow otherwise the animal is considered un-kosher and therefore inedible to jews. I am not Jewish, but I do love kosher hot dogs haha

really? I may have to try thoes out sometime. I'm not sure how "kosher" they are, but I like the flavor of the Nathan's hotdogs. I belive they are also 100% beef.

to the OP, sorry for the tangent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

a friend of mine has worked for UPS for 18 years. he makes about $28 an hour, usually works about 50 hours a week so 10 hours are paid at $42 hour...all that equals a pretty **** good chunk of change each week for delivering boxes

my woman makes that as a physical therapist and works M-F, 9-5. its her first year.

ok, and your point?

.

i havnt worked for any shipping companys like that but i did have a job interview at fedex ground one morning. i went in still drunk from the night before and only had a lil less then an hour of sleep so i didnt get the job lol. but they were on break when i took the tour so i didnt get to see how bad the packages were treated. didnt look good tho. ups brought a sub to my house onetime and the magnet was sticking out the side of the box. havnt used them since. i have worked in the shipping department for 2 companies tho. one was furniture. they would bring racks that had like 50 mirriors on it. each mirrior weiging over 30lbs. if i had room for 10 mirrors to fit safely.........id have to make at least 12 fit. after the glass breaks you can fit more in there. and nightstands, i couldnt tell you how many of those i droped or how many mirrors i broke. also for some reason they liked putting 200lb dressers on top of night stands. i dont know why but maybe that was just my leaders way of doing things. when i worked for general electric i packed the boxes but after a friend killed somebody and got arrested i had to load the trucks too. sometimes i would have to use a box the size of a phone book to hold up a 70 lb box. companys policy. make it fit good and dont worry about the goods. so i hate dealing with shipping companys.

Yup bull sperm.... and premium stuff too i would guess as they were always insured really high... came in some odd *** containers always from a farm. I asked the driver that would bring them in and take them out and he said the farm breeds some type of bull and sell the sperm to other farms for thousands... No clue why but it was really odd. I hate to say it but I have handled thousands of pounds of bull sperm....
