I now see why all our packages get destroyed.

*No offense to ANY UPS worker on here.. dont take it personal.*

I just had a group interview with UPS this morning, and as we walked down the long *** row of conveyer belts, and truck loading sytems, i see guys just tossing boxes from one belt to another, it made me sick. And they wonder why they get so many complaints.

Im not sure what was worse, the unloading, or the loading.

The unloading they were tossing boxes from a big semi, to this PILE of boxes, not placing, tossing boxes, denting them, and probably destroying whatever is inside. Even the boxes with 5 or more fragile stickers on them, they still just tossed them.

I will never again use UPS as a shipping method (not that i did anyways)

yup. knew a guy who worked for UPS.

said he saw boxes with JL written on them and guess what...he said if it was too heavy he would kick it to where it had to be.

the stuff he told me made me want to beat his *** on the spot.

I just couldnt beleive that it was these guys job to get our shipment, safely and in tact. Well, maybe its not to get it here in tact. but ****.

And then see what you go through to collect insurance from them...I have as of yet to ever receive a dime back when they've destroyed a package....Insurance is just another scam to get more money out of some sucker that thinks he is doing the right thing....

I work at UPS. The greatest thing I ever saw was a box magically stopping on a chute and causing a jam (In the primary sort). They went to break the jam and tried yanking off the box that caused it, and it was stuck. After a couple seconds they realized the box had a speaker in it and the magnet caused it to stick on the chute. Funny enough, there is no label required for magnetic objects, yet I see boxes all the time that say "warning keep away from magnetism" like film reals inside boxes going to theaters.
