I now officially hate cops...

lol. like i said i hate that it comes to this. i worked in a gas station for the past 4 years and never had a problem with the cops that came in. every day i'd talk to them for 20-30 minutes easily.... they were nice... i just happened to get the dick of the bunch. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Try to find one that may remember you and tell them your story. I usually consult my pig uncle or one of my pig friends when i have an issue where I feel I was wronged by a cop. Or something I hear about.

Are you positive that when you first left work you weren't speeding? I know alot of people drive a little faster then they think they do...
A police officer does NOT have to show you the radar gun, but most police cars when they turn there lights on, it turns on the camera...if he didn't turn his lights on until yo were stopped getting ready to turn in.

Then you could probobly get out of it...but the thing is if you get out it and make this cop look like a douche, then he's gonna remember your face, and next time he'll find a small driving mistake and pile on all he can
Proving even more that cops are pieces of shit? even better for when they go to court next time.

this is easya cop HAS to be facing you to clock you

or see you clearly going over the speed limit

if he was so far behind you there is NO way he can say you were going

X miles per hour
Since when does a cop have to be facing you? You mean the front of the car? Not true, some cars have the gun in the back. Some use handheld RADAR or LIDAR

95% of that post was bullshit. Most radar guns DONT print out speed readings, the officer reads them and issues a citation. Laser, stopwatch/vascar are similar.
He doesn't have to show shit at court except commonly a certificate of accuracy if the radar/laser set has to be tested by state law. As well as a certificate acknowledging that he is approved to use said speed testing device.

You dont get a trial by jury with a speeding citation haha, the judge would find that funny though. If you dont like the ruling take an appeal.
Ummmm maybe not in PA, but in GA the judge specifically asks you if you want a trial by a jury of your peers for your traffic violation. he asks if you want a trial by jury of peers or by him. I saw it happen once. It was kind of funny. I mena really the whoel courtroom was laughing, cuz the guy picked and they did the trial right there on the spot. It was amazing. And very short.

It happened. They took the pic, but the ambulance was a little ways back in traffic. My bro-in-law pulled up and over like others were doing, but he was first in line and actually had to pull through the intersection. I never saw the pic, but I don't think the ambulance was visible.
And the company New Orleans and the surrounding area is using is out of New Zealand. They WANT people to just pay the ticket because it costs MORE to fight it. Like I said, it's not about law & order, it's about $$$.

Now I will say this: These "Scam Cams" are new in my area and it's possible that there are bugs that will be worked out (like my sister who got one going under a yellow light). Maybe issues like this will be addressed in the future if enough people complain. But I doubt it.
That sucks.

and Bmore has/had tons of faulty red light cameras. Im glad I never got ticketed for the times my car got pictured. i would have been pissed.

we were in the same vehicle. cause he even called for ****ing backup (thats how bored these cops are) we didnt know a 2nd cop pulled up until he knocked on the other window (5% tint lol) lucky he didnt get me for that... he even shined his light on it and said is there anyone else back there i cant see.... but the second he flashed his lights i rolled down my window and turned on interior light so he'd be able to see us...
heres a tip, since you have limo tint(I do too) when you get pulled over, roll down all your windows. ALL of them. it will ease some "tension"

I get my information from real life experience, you can feel free to request a jury trial for a speeding ticket but let me know what happens with that. I'll be laughing with the judge/magistrate/local authority.
I read what the constitution says and I know what happens with traffic tickets, two different things fortunately or unfortunately depending on your situation.

Lastly the section you highlighted deals with civil trials, this is not under civil jurisdiction. Criminal traffic court.
Ive seen it happen. In georgia.

Just an FYI (my brother has been a fire fighter for the past 20 years, and I have tons of family that work as police officers/EMTS...etc)
You don't need to move when an emergency vehicle pulls up. You stay parked, and do not move. Most people when they move cause more of a danger to themselves and the emergency vehicle then they realize
ive seen instances where cars had to move, and ive seen where ambulances hop over dividers. I mean it all depends on the driver of the ambulance and drivers of the cars in the area/intersection.

I have had my experience with the cops. I have been to jail for racing an under cop....LOL I was booked going 75+ in a 35. SO I learned a my lesson on speeding. At least I thought.

I have been pulled over for speeding and the cop showed me my car and the speed on video. But I was lucky that night he just trashed my car and let me go.

One day I was coming from the car wash after spending hours on cleaning my ride. I spotted a cop going by and all of a sudden I get pulled over. He said I was going 65 in a 35. So I asked him can I see his radar with my speed on it. Instead of letting me see it he replied "Do they let you see it in Cali". He never let me see the radar, but when I went to court he didn't turn the ticket in. SO my final thought on that situation was that the cop was lying.

why were you racing a cop?

It was a dodge intrepid with TX plates. All my run in with the cops was when I lived in ABQ, NM. I learned a big lesson on speeding. I had my car towed and I went to jail for a day.
Haha.. better question: Why were you racing... a Dodge Intrepid? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

glad this thread is still going. didnt someone say it is illegal to record without someones consent tho? i have a blackjack and i could record on it if i wanted to.... wish i had thought of that cause im sure that cop would have forgotten something in court and would end up saying something wrong.

What is there to record? "You were speeding".... "no I wasn't". If anything, it would hurt you. It would show that the LEO was being professional and fallowed the rules of writing a traffic citation. I don't see what recording what he said is going to do in your favor.

PS: Is CA.com slooooow tonight? Keeps locking up on me.

check your state laws. but as far as i know there is no law against it. i keep a digital voice recorder in my car at all times.

its your own car and you should be able to voice/video record any thing you want
