Its interesting I have seen people buy a type r from best buy then purchase blown ones else where and turn the blown ones in to get new ones.

dont they check the voice coil with a dmm. or at least wire it up in the shop. my friend tried that a few years back at cc and when they went to wire up the kicker sub it was blown. he bi tched and bi tched dam n near cried and he got a new one.

If he's looking for blown type r's then im assuming that's what he's going to try also. He probably bought some with a warrenty and is going to try to scam best buy.

And majority of best buy installers probably dont know what a dmm is and they just get someone to see if its blown then they give you a new one.
