I am hooking up my isolator for my 2nd battery and I need to run a "true ignition" wire to the isolator. True igntion means that it will keep power while the starter is cranking.

Where is the easiest to get to true igntion wire in my car? (00 blazer)

Thanks

crack open the ignition housing and run a DMM to each wire to see which one keeps power

when you start it, you may have to start it up a few times to find the right one but it should

be easy to run the wire to the isolator, just drill a hole through the firewall and connect it

ignition housing in the steering wheel??

I was thinking to pop open the fuse box under the hood and find a fuse that only gets power with the ignition on and tap into it since the relay wont draw very much power. Any problems with that?
